Our offbeat wedding at a glance: I wanted a little wedding, but Mitko wanted a large 1. So we share our wedding in two parts. The first part was the ceremony at City Hall on March 14, and we invited only our families. I didn '; t want a traditional white dress so my mother suggested a crocheted one. I fell in really like the idea! I wanted a crocheted tie for Mitko with identical components, but my friend who created the dress does not have the time, so they died 3 hearts for me, Mitko, and our child, and sewed them on a draw.
The next day we had a big wedding with our homes and friends. I wore a vintage dress with a Paris theme, due to the fact I graduated from French research and I just enjoy Paris. Mitko had a bow in the same fabric as the dress. Everything was Paris Topics: our wedding favors were modest biscuits with the Eiffel Tower, our wedding glasses and champagne Pre the Eiffel Tower, and even our wedding cake was created by French macaroons produced
Let us know about the ceremony:
In Bulgaria, although the wedding ceremonies are very westernized (which includes bouquet toss, toss garter, etc.), there are a lot of different traditions, the men and women to preserve, , But I didn '; t want most of them integrate. We stayed 3 Bulgarian traditions: the first is a single, if the couple is in the restaurant, you are greeted by the two mothers. They have a huge wedding bread called Pitka in their hands. The mother of the groom gives the bride a little bread with honey for them to be called to the loved ones and a content married life they want. The mother of the bride does the same for the groom. Then the bride and groom give some bread with honey to the mothers-in-law, which means that they love each other and respect their new families.
After that the bride enters a can with water Good luck. In Bulgaria, where the couple did not have small children, people put a white and a red rose (a boy and a girl), and when they occur, depending on what would be their first Rose comes out youngster. Since we are still a son, I went there just for excellent luck in marriage.
The final tradition that we had kept the breaking of bread. The couple has not received but a Pitka (there are a lot, a lot of Pitkas in Bulgarian traditions - in fact, for each decisive moment in life, there are at at least one in particular!), and take over the heads. Then you have to break it and who the major element will be head of the family members.
We had to send invitations, but a video invitation, which I uploaded on our wedding site and just sent the link to the invited.
Our biggest challenge:
I had asked my best mate, officiate the second wedding, but a few days just before the wedding, they had a significant conflict and couldn '; t do. I was disappointed, but Mitko ';! S ex-roommate, Nasya, ready to help us and did a great job
My funniest moment:
When we to a certain Bulgarian Dance dancing, horo . I am extremely bad at it! So when they had all of their right foot, I had my left and so on. And then I finally made it, but the song was more than 30 seconds later. Oops.
